Vindication Season Two, Episode One Recap

When rewatching episode one of season two, I had a little bit of mixed feelings in a good way.

I want to start this off by saying that God loves all of us and He'll move mountains for us daily.

I don't want to give too much away because I want to have people see the show for themselves.

There was a mom who had two young children, both of them girls. She was a single parent.

So many things for this mom, made me feel bad for her as these two detectives, cops if you will weren't taking her feelings into account, instead they came to Gary Travis with everything that they assumed they knew about this single mom with her two young girls.

Gary did eventually try to get them to do their jobs as requested, but I will say the mom was thankful that Gary took her seriously.

Now I want to jump into where Becky, Gary's wife goes to help ladies in prison. We first find her, talking with someone, who seems willing to hear about God, willing to let Becky Travis pray with her.

That is until one of the people that's in jail with her, reveals that she does a lot of things  that maybe she shouldn't have, because sometimes we all make mistakes, we all have flaws, but this is where we see how God forgives, and He forgives because He loves us so much, that He sent His Son to die on that cross for our sins, so that we could have everlasting life.

Going into this episode I realize that even the smallest things that seem scary, are not so scary after you know what is really going on, and you can find ways to help, which is what Gary with His Team did to help that mom and her girls.

I want to share a scripture with all of you because this episode had many trials that each person in this episode has gone through,

Whether that be with their family, co workers, a friend. No matter what they went through, I feel like this scripture, and this scripture alone, sums up what the episode called Precincts And Prisoners was about.

Philippians 4 verse 6-7 says: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I want us to remember that scripture, the next time we are feeling anxious and afraid of something.
